Thank you to all who made Career Jam at Hudson Valley a huge success. This career exploration event provided m0re than 1,100 eighth- and ninth-grade students from local schools the opportunity to interact with a variety of businesses and Hudson Valley academic programs. As part of the program, the students were also provided the opportunity to tour campus.
This event would not have been the success it was without the hard work of many on campus including, the Office of Special Events and Facilities Utilization, Public Safety, Physical Plant, Admissions, the Center for Careers and Transfer, Communications and Marketing and participating academic departments. The Hudson Valley/EOC booths were among the most impressive and popular with students.
Many thanks to Student Activities for the Viking mascot and door prizes, the Foundation for sponsoring the swag bags for students and additional door prizes, the Faculty Student Association and Communications and Marketing for door prizes.
